This was my first book by Kristine Cayne and will not be my last. Not to mention fantasizing about the things he wants to do to her.
The humor in a lot of the dialogue keeps a reader especially me entertained while we get to know the characters BTW-Vivian is a horrible woman, all throughout the novel I wanted to slap her. I really liked cajne book. But, I also got upset when outside forces were trying to tear them apart.
I will honestly say that this book truly surprised me in a very good way! She and her son are the family he’s always wanted-if she can forgive a horrible mistake from his past.

Bosession, a few times i wanted to slap her for doing something stupid And her son, Jason was a sweetheart. Who would enjoy this? She better not screw this up or it is back to taking pics of sno Lauren James needs this one moment in time with Nic ‘The Lover’ Lamoureux to make a name for herself. Also the fun times they had together and the humor they shared between them had me smiling throughout the book. Kristine Cayne is fascinated by the krstine of human psychology—twisted secrets, deep-seated beliefs, out-of-control desires.
At times I found the story a little predictable, yet I also found a lot of refreshing twists and directions which combined with the fab characters and the romance was pretty spot on; making ktistine a sexy suspenseful well written read. The irony Nic falls for photographer and has no bosession the photographer is the same photographer he had a crush on in high school is awesome and very entertaining. Was it ever really meant to be in the first place?
Pass on this one. It does have one great 5 star review on Amazon. But note to those who read it: Everything you want in a book and more.
All lovers of suspense, hot mean, delicious love scenes, and stalker themes, would dig Deadly Obsession. She is hoping this shoot will give her the boost in her career that she needs. Shnoogiepoo 4 stars After her husband lost his life fighting in Afghanistan, single mother Lauren James became an in-store photographer to make ends meet.
There was just the right amount of tension, interspersed with every day occurrences and the growing romantic attraction between Lauren and Nic. The plot was intriguing, the world fascinating, and the characters and their interactions were awesome! Lauren suffered a great loss when she lost her husband Todd to war. This stalker has upped the ante and is now making threats against those that Nic loves and now Lauren. Filled with heat, suspense, and emotion.
It has a great story line, and characters that you will think about way after you’ve read the book. The attraction between them is unexplained at first, but the story goes on to give you a very plausible reason why a movie star would fall for a single mom working in a small photography studio in Seattle. The characterization is very good. She is a strong woman and single mother. Readers will be hooked from the first sentence- on the book and on Nic!
