This story is told in first person by an unknown narrator as he walks home along a street after a thunderstorm. That said it was Kafka’s first book published originally in and is a collection of short stories and sketches all of which could be used as outlines for much larger works, but work in a modern sense in much the same way as a blog, little pieces of one mans life, a cool story about Unmasking a Confidence Man and a good look at a Salesman among the stories make this well worth tracking down.

Reading it is like watching life go by through a lens that does not judge, only holds up an image. I’m not saying that they are all great.
